I created #WeeklyLittlePieces, a weekly tiny form (<200 characters) composition contest for current Emerson College Writing, Literature & Publishing students, with winning submissions published on the Emerson WLP Twitter and Facebook each Friday. Submitters enter pieces each week to be anonymously judged by an Emerson WLP faculty member. Emerson College wrote an article about the project here.

Me, I’m all, “A captain goes down with her ship.” Everyone else asks, “Are you really a captain? Do you know how to sail? Is that even your ship?” And the answer is always, “No.”— Emerson WLP (@Emerson_WLP) February 2, 2018

A babbling brook
Stumbles and trips on its way
Happily chasing
Winding down the narrow path
